Middleford Pro Series Finale

posted: 11/10/2011

Everything started in Middleford in May it was only fitting that it end there as well. As the 600 Pro Series rolled into Middleford Friday night there were only 7 points separating Shane Lewis and Brian Carber. It doesn't get a tighter than that. At the end of qualifying Mike Dicely would start on the pole with Shane Lewis and Brian Carber both starting in the top 10. Dicely, who had been strong all night led all 30 laps enroute to his first Pro Series victory of 2011. Mike would leave middelford 2nd in owner points and 3rd in driver points

But the bigger story was what was happening behind the leader. Before the green flagged dropped while on the warm up laps Brian Carber pulled into the infield with a fuel leak and could not continue effectively ending his chance of a Pro Series Championship. Shane Lewis would finish 5th and slam the door shut on the rest of the competitors. There was still plenty of movement from 4th to 10th in the point chase and those positions would not be settled until after the Saturday night national open at Middleford.

Congrats to Shane and Glenn Lewis for a well deserved championship.

News about the 2012 600 Pro Series will be coming soon.

It is literally coming down to the last race!

Wait until you get a load of this!!!!!

6 points separate 1st and 2nd in driver points and 83 points separate 1st and 2nd in owner points!!!!!!!

It is literally coming down to the last race!!!!!

On the driver side Ryan Greth still has a mathematical chance of winning the championship but everything would have to go perfect for him and everything would have to go perfectly wrong for Lewis and Carber.

On the owner side the top 5 all have a mathematical chance of winning the championship and again it would have to go perfect for some and horrible for others.

Luke Thomas is on the bubble at 15th position on the driver side and with middleford being his home track look for Luke to advance his position considerably next weekend.

Spencer Dearth is on the bubble on the owner side and with Jeff Halligan being committed to football this time of the year will Spencer have someone else wheeling the 45H at Middleford????

Page and crew will absolutely be ready for us and don't forget the top 4 from Friday are locked into the Saturday event. It doesn't get any better then this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last race of the year for the 600 Pro Series and it's still warm in slower lower J.........I know where I'm gonna be!!!!!!!!!!

600 Pro Series Lanco Double point event

posted: 8/23/2011

Newmanstown, Pa. - August 20 - Late race dramatics affected the outcome of two feature races, and lapped traffic very nearly altered the finishing order of a third main event on Saturday night at Lanco's Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway.

Hyper Racing sponsored the evening of Micro-Sprint competition, and it was two drivers in Hyper Chassis who figured into a wild ending of the HTMA 600 Pro Series race. Shane Lewis, Honeybrook, Pa., grabbed the lead on a restart with two to go after he and race-long leader Heath Hehnly made contact as they accelerated in turns three and four and headed for the green.

Saturday's HTMA 600 Pro Series feature was simply terrific, with Hehnly and Lewis, who is the current Pro Series point leader, starting on the front row. They were soon joined by fifth-starting Mike Dicely, whose Hyper Racing No. 44 was hooked up on the bottom, while Hehnly and Lewis ran a higher line around the banked oval.

The three wheel-twisters battled one another for the lead as they navigated heavy lapped traffic during the middle stages of the 30-lapper, until Dicely went a bit too low in turns one and two, clipping two of the large tires that mark the infield boundary. Dicely nearly looped his car, but gathered it back under him and continued, although he lost three positions in the process.

On the final, fateful restart with only two circuits remaining, Lewis got into the back of Hehnly's car, resulting in the No. 2 turning sideways as Lewis, Jimmy Brookens, Mike Rutherford, Chris Gerhart, Robbie Kendall and a few others squeezing by him.

"I hate to win that way, but he (Hehnly) slowed up for some reason," stated Lewis in the winner's circle. "I don't know if he lifted a little to make a shift or what, but he slowed and that's why I got into him."

Lewis flew to the checkered, beating Brookens to the stripe by 1.585 seconds. When Hehnly got out of shape on that restart, Gerhart made a great move up high, passing Dicely and Rutherford to move into third, which is where he finished. Rutherford and Kendall completed the top five.

With 38 of the 600cc teams entering the double-point Pro Series race, a dual heat race format was used for qualifying. Heat winners included Kyle Lick, Jered Hook, Gerhart, Rutherford, A.J. Michael, Brittany Brown, Dicely, and Hehnly. The B-Main went to Brett Schoenly.

There was months of build up about this event and it did not disappoint!!! 113 cars signed in to try to capture the $10,000 grand prize

On Friday night Tyler Devault, Ryan Smith and Jeff Halligan would make the feature event with Devault finishing 9th, Ryan Smith 10th and Jeff Halligan 14th

There were many Pro Series members that made at least one of the 6 speedweek events. 33 to be exact and the top 12 points positions were made up entirely of 600 Pro Series members!!!! That is awesome!!! Pro Series members won 5 of the 6 speedweek events!!!! Are you kidding me.....Jeff Hartman, Ryan Greth, Tyler Walton, and Shane Lewis were all victorious with Tyler Walton winning an impressive two races back to back. Shane Lewis would find himself in victory lane at the finale at Lanco after a hard fought 50 lap feature. Jeff Hartman would leave Lanco as the 2011 Pa Speedweek Champion.

Congratulations to all the Pro Series Members that competed in this years speedweek events. The 600 Pro Series is definitely the place to race against the best in country hands down!!!

Kutztown race recap

posted: 6/18/2011

Not everyone is fond of wingless... I can honestly say I'm sort of on the fence about the wingless racing. That however could change after the double point event at Kutztown Wednesday evening.

41 wingless 600 sprints signed in to the event. 27 of those entries were 600 Pro Series members!!!!! That is outstanding!!!!. In the weeks leading up to this event the racing at the fairgrounds hasn't exactly been edge of your seat racing. Kerry Meitzler and Janelle Stump wanted that to change. Kerry turned the entire racing surface over and left it sit open for a few days the results were one of the best "wingless" racing surfaces we have experienced any where. It's amazing how much a properly prepared surface can add to the morale of the racers and to the quality of the racing not to mention a nice high sticky curb!!!!

After two rounds of qualifying wingless aces Ryan Smith and Jeff Hartman would sit on top of the leader board. Smith is a Kutztown regular with many wins at the fairgrounds in both 600 and 270 and Hartman had just come off of two straight victories at the fairgrounds and is the reining point champion. While all eyes were fixed on the battle among the top three cars of Smith, Hartman and Shane Lewis there was plenty of action back thru the field. Curb hopping and slide jobs were a plenty and at the end of 30 laps Ryan Smith would hold off numerous challenges by 2nd place Jeff Hartman with 3rd place Shane Lewis peeking on the outside a time or two. Jay Hartman would come home 4th and Brett Schonely 5th 6th thru 10th were Mike Dicely, Brett Ardnt , Brian Carber , Ryan Greth and Ryan Wilson.

Ryan Greth would leave Kutztown still in the point lead but not by much. Brian Carber, Ryan Smith, Jeff Hartman, Jay Hartman, Mike Dicely and Shane Lewis made up significant ground on Greth and with the 22 race ceiling coming up soon for the front runners the next few months will be interesting to say the least. Consistency is what will win the Pro Series championship. Who is going to be able to string together the best 22 finishes. We shall see.....

Middleford race recap
Friday 5/27/11 / Saturday 5/28/11

posted: 5/31/2011

This was one of the races I have been waiting for since Middleford Speedway joined the 600 Pro Series. Over the winter Page Lynch and crew totally re configured the speedway. It reminded me of Trail way Speedway with more sweeping corners.

There are 5 Pro Series members that race at Middleford regularly and they were very helpful with track info since most of the 37 cars were seeing the facility for the very first time.

The track was fast and the racing was some of the most intense I had watched for a while. The double file restarts were a fresh alternative to the single file cone passes we are accustomed to. The track was a bit rough but there was a 2nd grove that the 8C of Brian Carber utilized to pass middleford regular 19G of Joey Startt. Startt would lead 23 laps before giving up the lead to Carber. Startt would end up 6th

The 2T of Luke Thomas would cross the line 2nd with Tyler Walton 3rd Tyler Devault 4th and Ryan Greth 5th. Starrt would finish 6th, Eric Bodine 7th, Andrew Locuson 8th Robert Kendall 9th and Sam Lamothe 10th

The feedback I received from everyone Friday Night was very positive and their was much anticipation about Saturday night and the Pro Series Tour event.

Then the rain came. 0% chance of rain but it rained and it rained and it rained for about 2 hours and only at the speedway. If you drove 3 miles there was nothing!!!! There was 3-4 foot of water in the infield. Luckily the crew hadn't opened the surface before the rain. After much deliberation it was decided to prep the track to race. actually a coin toss determined whether of not to race.

Page and his crew went to work and in very short order turned the track over and left it sit in the sun, that was now shining. The warm ups went off approx 1 ½ hours behind schedule but with no curfew to concern ourselves with and no rain ( yeah right I've heard that before) everyone was confident the race would be completed.

The track was manageable but would start to deteriorate. With all the rain and the sanding clay saturated the cars would create a berm in the track surface. Now normally that isn't a problem unless it's 10 feet off the bottom. It proved troublesome for most of the racers and before the B main would roll off Page and his crew would once again go to work on the speedway.

When the B main rolled off the track was in as good of shape as it had been all weekend and held up to thru the race. The mod lites followed the 600 sprints and at the end of their racing the berm that had been eliminated was now starting to show again. After some quick grooming the 600 feature would enter the track with the #22 of Ryan Smith on the pole followed by 026 of Jeff Hartman. 5T of Tyler Ross would start 3rd and 7h of Ryan Wilson would start 4th and 14T of Tyler Walton would complete the top 5. It wouldn't take long for the track to once again deteriorate. The troublesome berm was once again back and with everyone trying to stay underneath the berm needless to say the racing from the 6th on back was a slugfest resulting in a lot of torn up equipment. Running out of tear offs were becoming an issue as well as running low on fuel. After 9 green flag laps and only 9 cars remaining I made the decision to stop the race and the victory was awarded to the #22 of Ryan Smith who was leading at the time of the stoppage The top 6 cars weren't contesting each other for position and I saw no value in putting the racers or the cars thru anymore abuse.

I would like to commend Page Lynch and everyone at Middleford Speedway for everything they did throughout the weekend. They are some of the most gracious and accommodating folks I have ever met. The track has a lot of potential and with a little grooming here and there it will become one of the fastest we race on. We will be back sooner rather then later!

I want to give a special mention to someone I just met this weekend. Lisa Fizer. Lisa and her mom are officially my two favorite people in the world. Lisa did all the points for the Saturday event along with making sandwiches and some awesome awesome cupcakes. They are huge race fans and travel for all the Speed week races but I think after this weekend they will sneaking off to a few of the Pro Series events as well.

Thanks again to everyone that made this weekend a huge success!!!!!

Lindas Race recap

Well it seems that we had everything going against us. It was Friday the 13th, the radar was full of rain and it was coming right toward us. Gas is almost $ 4.00 a gallon, oh did I say it was Friday the 13th?

I'm glad the Pro Series members aren't as neurotic as I am!!!! 37 of the best of the best in the 600 Sprint class signed into to the first Pro Series Tour event at Lindas Speedway After 2 rounds of qualifying the #44 of Hyper Mike Dicely would sit on top of the leader board 2nd would be #22 of Ryan Smith, 3rd #2 Terry Schaeffer, 4th #25s Tim Buckwalter, 5th #1J Ryan Greth Heath Hehnly was the winner of the B Main

Before the drop of the green flag of the 30 lap feature event the #9 of Pro Series member and 6th in points Peter Michael would slow on the back stretch and retire with mechanical problems.

The #44 Pro Series point leader Mike Dicely would bring the field to the green flag. Dicely would jump out to a comfortable lead in the early going with the remainder of the field lining up nose to tail on the slick surface. As Dicely closed in on the rear of the field Smith would close the gap on the #44 followed by Terry Schaeffer, Tim Buckwalter and Ryan Greth.

Dicely was able to navigate lap traffic with relative ease when suddenly on Lap 18 he would pull off with engine problems. Ryan smith would inherit the lead and take the checkered flag unchallenged. Terry Schaeffer would cross the line in 2nd flowed by Tim Buckwalter, Ryan Greth, and Luke Thomas, Brian Carber, Jeff Halligan, Kenny Edkin, Shane Lewis , Josh Dalrymple round out the top ten

23 or the 37 cars belonged to Pro Series members.....WOW!!! that is incredible. That's what makes the tour events so special. Little extra money in the pay envelope.....lots of action.... And the most fair, most exciting qualifying procedure in the 600 Sprint Class.....Hands Down!!!!

The tour event will be at Middleford Speedway Saturday may 28th with the presentation of the Susquehanna Valley Speed Shop Beach Clash paying $1,000.00 to win Friday is the preliminary at Middleford paying $500.00 to win. Friday is a standard Middleford event with Middleford qualifying.

So call ahead and reserve a camping spot at the beach and come down and hang out with everyone.....so where are you going to race this year?

Double Points Race Per Track

posted: 2/23/2011

To all Pro Series members,

After some consideration and consultation I have decided to have one double points race per track instead of up to two per facility. We will still have up to two special tour events per facility but only one of those will be double points.

I feel this will boost membership and allow people, that don't have an opportunity to travel as some of us do, a chance to be competitive in the series. The special tour events will still have the atmosphere they always have with higher payouts and special qualifying format which will draw the best cars.

In order for this series to grow and evolve it needs the strength of it's membership to propel it. The strength of our membership and the Pro Series sanctioned facilities will continue to set the standard that others will follow. We will all benefit from our strength as one group. Racers, tracks, sponsors all committed to one common goal. The strength and success of the 600 Sprint class

Thank You........Wayne

RYAN GRETH ENTERS THE GAMBLERS CLASSIC, RACING FOR THE MOTORSPORTS INSTITUTE

posted: 01/18/2011

600 Micro Sprint racing superstar and the 2010 600 Pro Series champion Ryan Greth will make his debut at the historic Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ to do battle with the best of the best in Indoor Midget Racing for the annual Gamblers Classic Midget race. The New Cumberland, PA standout is no stranger to the pressure of close wheel to wheel action. With over 50 career feature wins, multiple championships and now being the current 600 Pro Series Champion, Greth knows how to win. His smooth style and passion to drive to the front has gained him notoriety from his home state of Pennsylvania to Indiana to Florida. Winning the Gamblers Classic is not out of the question for Greth, but the opportunity to drive for the Motorsports Institute has him even more motivated. Greth is very excited. 'Representing the Motorsports Institute means a lot to me' said Greth. 'I am a firm believer that educational programs getting kids to expand their knowledge is a good thing, and this program is fun, too!' Greth, a graduate of the Universal Technical Institute and the NASCAR Institute is currently working as the fuel injection specialist for Hyper Racing. Mention the word 'fuel injection' to most people and it sounds like science and mystery combined. Hyper Racing is known worldwide for their expertise in fuel injection and dyno work on micro sprint engines.

The Motorsports Institute introduces school age children to the world of motorsports in a full community sponsored program, at no cost, through their academic programs. Unlike other sports, motorsports does not require great physical strength, speed or size of its athletes. What motorsports does require is access to a race car. Even at the lowest levels of motorsports, such as Go Kart Racing, the purchase of a Go Kart and the costs to maintain it are out of the reach of many families. The Motorsports Institute provides young people access and a bridge to the world of motorsports. What motorsports also provides are life skills and success training that is valuable to any career pursuit. The goal is that through nurturing talent and aspiration, we can help someone become impassioned about something. Witness the current success of Joe Gibbs, who after years of a professional football career has found new life and enthusiasm in motorsports. The Motorsports Institute will provide young people with access to the wide-eyed world of exciting new career options and the opportunity to explore new territory.

Last year at the Ivy Bound Academy, a middle school in Sherman Oaks, California, 250 students participated in the Motorsports Institute's 'Read to Race' program. They read 123,795 pages, confirmed by teachers and parents. 'Raising the recreational reading level of the students was the major goal' said Adam Gaunt, the Language arts teacher at Ivy Bound and the schools 'Read to Race' coordinator. While the students were reading because of a major incentive provided by the motorsports institute, they were developing habits of proficient readers. 'Even after the winner's ceremonies, the students continued to read. Each student read at least 3 novels, completed essays and completed book reports'. Gaunt said he expects the real success will be when the students participate in the standardized state testing this spring. The kids really had fun with the race car. 'We had all the students sign their names on the hood of the MSI sponsored Super Late Model of Julien Penaruiz. 'It was a moment I'll never forget', said MSI's Academic Director Mike Sweet, who ran the MSI racing program at last years Showdown at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale, CA. (www.motorsportsinstitute.org ) 'These kids were so interested in motorsports. They all had favorites, from Rally Car to NASCAR, drag racing to Formula One.' MaryAnne Howland, President and CEO of the Motorsports Institute in Nashville Tenn. said she was very happy to have a LA to Nashville to NY type connection. 'This is a diversity educational program', said Howland, 'one that includes all students without the huge investment in a racing enterprise. Just the learning experience and fun that motorsports brings with it'.

When Hyper Racing's President Mike Dicely and the Motorsports Institute's academic program director Mike Sweet decided to offer MSI's educational programs to the local Middle Schools near Hyper Racing headquarters in PA, the usual conversation of Atlantic City's January classic battle started to take hold. Dicely and Sweet have a history, sort of. The 2005 Gamblers Classic looked to be a runaway event for Sweet's FOUR America with Jeff Heotzler easily en route to the victory. But a late mechanical mishap put 'the Jeffer' in jeopardy of losing it all. After Billy Pauch passed him for the lead, he then spun out, never leading a lap. Mike Dicely also passed the Jeffer too, taking over the race lead with 2 laps to go. Mike went high on the white flag lap, giving 'the Jeffer' just enough room for the victory. Now, Dicely and Sweet are on the same team, working towards the prospect of bringing a fun educational opportunity to schools desiring to participate. Mike Dicely then told Sweet about the Indoor car he built, and offered it to MSI for the event, to get the word out about the Motorsports Institute's academic programs. That, combined with Sweet's association with 600 Pro Series president Wayne Lesher, who also happens to be Ryan Greths car owner in that series, agreed to make this happen. So through the sponsorship of Hyper Racing, the support of the 600 Pro Series and Championship car owner Wayne Lesher, the crew, and the superstar driving talent of Ryan Greth all teamed together to support the Motorsports Institute, a win in Boardwalk Hall is not out of the realm of possibility. After all, this is the place where if you have the right cards at the right time, you win!

2010 600 Pro Series Recap

2010 HTMA 600 Pro Series concludes with Ryan Greth as Series Champion, 2011 to bring even more excitement!

The 2nd year for the HTMA 600 Pro Series presented by NPS is now in the record books. This season has proved, beyond a doubt, that this is an exceptional group of racers and competitors, dedicated to the series even in a time of economic downturn. When 50 of the nations best 600 Micro Sprint competitors signed in for the first event at Trailway Speedway earlier this year, you could tell how popular the 600 Pro Series is, and how professional the racers were. Their names included Greth, Rutherford, Walton, Murphy, Lewis, Buckwalter, Michalski, Zearfoss, Arndt, Gordon and many more. The excellent car counts and close competition kept the 2010 Championship a battle to the end. Only 60 points separated the top four drivers in the championship run. Three drivers were within distance of being crowned Champion at the finale at New York's Black Rock Speedway. Dean Hoag's beautifully prepared Speedplant, with progressive banking in the corners that allowed multiple racing grooves, was perfect. 3 wide racing was the norm. Even the rains couldn't stop the 600's from a championship battle. At the finish, it was New Cumberland, Pa's Ryan Greth taking the 600 Pro Series Championship for 2010 and pocketing the $2,500 top prize. But don't think that the races held at Path Valley, Linda's, Lanco's Clyde Martin, Clinton County, Kutztown, Greenwood Valley, Hamlin or Trailway were any less dramatic. The competition was fierce all year long. Special thanks go out to Barry Dicely for the excellent work in tech, and to Kim Murphy, whose tireless efforts helped make the series what it was for 2010. With excellent purses, great sponsors, and an end of the year point fund, it's no wonder the racers and fans might be excited to be looking forward to 2011. And they will not be disappointed.

For 2011, the 600 Pro Series will expand once again. This year, Wayne Lesher, the 600 Pro Series' President, will have participating tracks sanctioned as 600 Pro Series sanctioned tracks, with points being awarded to each of the tracks weekly participants. All sanctioned tracks will have a double point's event, with a purse and structure similar to the events this year. The 2011 600 Pro Series will follow the rule package as adopted by the U6SA and will provide tech at all double point events. The 2010 600 Pro Series payout will be used (based on car counts) as well as 600 Pro Series qualifying format and competition rules. And of course, The 600 Pro Series will establish a points fund to be distributed at the end of the 2011 racing season and, the leaders in points will be running for a World Championship finale at a track to be determined, paying at least $5,000 to win. Add to that, up to three special events that will include the ARDC Midgets running in conjunction with the 600 Pro Series, giving the race fans something to talk about. "The Midgets would be the natural progression for a 600 Pro Series driver, so it makes sense to have the two clubs run together showcasing to the fans the intensity and competition each of these cars bring", said Wayne Lesher. Wayne's dream of bringing the 600 Micro Sprint competitors a better opportunity to race Outlaw Style, for bigger purses, a points fund, better track conditions and now a series that will get national recognition is well on it's way. Upgrades to the Series website (www.600proseries.com) are in motion including enhanced sponsor promotions, improved driver profiles and point's standings for all 600 Pro Series sanctioned tracks. This and many more improvements on the drawing board are on the agenda for 2011 making the 600 Pro Series the new leader in 600 Micro Sprint Racing.

Black Rock Recap

posted: 10/24/2010

Jeff Who?????? Folks in the Pizza Log Tour and Dundee NY area know who Jeff Hartman is now. Jeff won the Saturday night Pro Series / Pizza Log event from 9th position Saturday Night at Black Rock Speedway.

The Friday night preliminary event would set the stage for Saturday night as the Pa Crew was kept out of the top 3 by a very stout contingent of Pizza Log tour regulars.

After 2 rounds of qualifying Saturday on a the super fast Black Rock speedway the 1Z of Pro Series member Brock Zearfoss would find himself in a familiar place. On the front row of the A main. Brock would be joined by Pizza Log Tour regular and the Friday night preliminary winner #45 Davis Ferguson.

The B main was won by the Greth Racing #71 driven by Brett Arndt. The story of the night however was the drama building for the Pro Series title. Entering the final race of the season a mere 8 points would separate leader Ryan Greth and 2nd place Mike Rutherford. Sitting in 3rd just 46 points from Greth is substitute driver Chad Hough. Hough would be subbing the last two races for Jake Murphy who had to leave for college in England in September.

Rutherford would have a strong qualifying effort lining up 10th in the feature event with Greth needing to use the B main to enter the feature lineup. Greth would start 5th in the B main only to be involved in a 1st lap crash putting him to the rear of the field. At the checkered flag he would rebound back to 6th position which would put the 1J in 22nd second starting position in the A main 12 spots behind Mike Rutherford. Rutherford would need to finish 5 spots in front of Greth to secure the Pro Series title and the $2,500 top prize. 4 spots would create a tie and a co championship.

Then came the rains!!!!!!!!

Are you kidding me!!!!! It was a 20% chance of rain!!! It never rains at 20%!!!!! Unless you are trying to get a race in at Black Rock Speedway!!! I have to commend Shannon Doran for getting the 600's on the track. It was because of her efforts and tenacity that we were able to complete a very successful event.

When the green flag finally flew on the feature event it would be 3 wide going onto the first turn actually it was 3 wide just about everywhere on the track!!!! The rain had reconditioned an already fast racing surface. The 45 of David Ferguson would assume the lead in the first part of the event but he by no means was racing away from the field. You could cover the top half of the field with a blanket in the early rounds. This event would utilize a double file restart rule until half way thru the event. The double file restarts would keep the field tight which would ensure that the field not gets strung out. The 026 of Hartman would make a bold 4 wide move, in the middle of the turn to power to the lead at the half way point. The 026 of Hartman would hold off the 45 of Ferguson, the 1Z of Zearfoss and the 45X of Chuck Hebring and take the checkered flag along with the $1,500.00 paycheck!

Ryan Greth would finish in 9th position after starting 22nd and leave Black Rock as the 2010 600 Pro Series champion. Mike Rutherford, nursing a sick engine, would finish in 12th position and 2nd in the Pro Series standings.

The Black Rock event well exceeded my expectations. Dean Hoag and his crew gave us everything we needed to showcase the 600 class and the competitors didn't disappoint. Shannon Doran and Jim Radney and everyone at the Pizza Log Tour deserve all the credit for the success of Black Rock event. They have taken a class with no place to race and created an immensely successful and competitive series. Future co events are definitely going to be on the schedule as I feel it's vital for the success and of both Series for the 6oo class.

There are so many people that are vital to the success of the 600 Pro Series. Series Title sponsor Hoosier Tire Mid Atlantic, Primary series sponsor NPS Racing Engines along with all the associate sponsors.

Of coarse all the members of the Pro Series that have supported the races this season.

Barry Dicely who has worked with me to ensure that we provide a consistent and reliable tech procedure.

Last but not least I want to recognize Kim Murphy. I really don't know what I would do without her. She has rearranged her schedule so many times to make sure she could be there for me. Kim allows me to concentrate solely on what is happening on the track and in the pits. I would not even attempt to do a race without her by my side that is how important she is to me.

The 2010 Pro Series is in the books. It was a great season.......so where are you gonna race next year? Thank you............Wayne Lesher

Final Series Race

posted: 10/19/2010

This Saturday will be the last race of a very successful 2010 Pro Series campaign. Not including this weekend the Pro Series has averaged 40 cars per race!!!! That is including a 28 car field at Kutztown. I can't thank all the members and sponsors enough for the support we have received over the last two seasons. This year has been especially tough on local tracks in regards to car counts so to have the average the Pro Series does is amazing to me and a testament to the power of sticking together as a group.

There is a mere 8 points separating 1st and 2nd position. 46 points to third and less then 100 points to 5th. the top three positions are literally up in the air. With sunny skies forcasted but cool temps it will interesting to see who makes the haul to Black Rock.

This race also marks the start of what will hopefully become a 3 race series with our brothers from New York as Saturday will be a co- event with the Pizza Log Tour. We will be ultilizing a modified set of rules for the Saturday event. They will essentially be the same we are accustomed to with the following exceptions:

weight 790lbs
aftermarket rods are allowed ( no Titanium)
bladders are not required
Double file restarts to half way
everything else will follow U6SA 2010

This is one of the nicest paying events we have had and the payback thru is tremendous. In order to insure this type of pay back in the future we need to knock their socks off with a good car count. Black Rock is a very nice facilty in one of the most beautiful areas of the country you will see. Camping is allowed at the track and open fires are also allowed. There is usually a good crowd that stays at the track. On my first visit to the track three wide for the 600's wasn't uncommon. It is a very wide race track with progressive banking in the corners

Friday night is a Pizza Log tour event but all are invited to attend. Firday Night pays $500.00 to win Friday gates open at 4pm / Warmups at 5 / Racing at 6pm

Saturday gates open at 9am / Warmups at 11am / Racing at 1pm
From mapquest from center city harrisburg Total Travel Estimate: 3 hours 42 minutes / 192.72 miles

There is nothing bad about this event....Good Friends, Great Payout, Beautiful setting....

So where are you going to be this weekend?
...............Thank You...Wayne Lesher

Final Series Race

The final series race is Saturday 10/23 at Black Rock Speedway. Car entry is $25.00 with pit passes being $30.00. Blackrock is advertised as a 4/10 mile but that is against the outside rail. It has progressive banking in corners that will allow multiple racing grooves. Black Rock reminds me a lot of I-30 Speedway in Little Rock. Friday night is a Pizza Log Tour event that all Pro Series members are invited to participate in. The Friday night event follows the Pizza Log Tour rules and procedures make sure you know what they consist of www.600sprinttour.com

Path Valley Recap

posted: 10/09/2010

It was a good night to be alive. The air was crisp at Path Valley but the racing was HOT!!!! It really feels like football weather now but don't tell that to the 31 cars that signed into race #9 of the HTMA 600 Pro Series presented by NPS Racing engines.

With a guaranteed payout the decision was made to start all 31 cars. John Winslet and his crew didn't disappoint as the racing surface was about as good as it gets. It was super tacky and super fast for the heats. After two rounds of qualifying the 8C of Brian Carber would sit on top of the points.

Sitting 2nd in Pro Series standings Mike Rutherford would roll off 2nd with Ryan Wilson, Path Valley regular Timmie Barrick and the Cooke Roofing 2C of Heath Henley making up the top 5. Pro Series point co leader Ryan Greth would roll off in 9th and subbing for co leader Jake Murphy would be Chad Hough. Murphy left in September for college in England. Hough would start in 21st position.

At the drop of the green flag a couple cars would get out of shape causing the cars behind to scramble for room. 4 cars would tangle resulting in the 4j of Jesse Fitz flipping hard against the front stretch wall. Also involved was the 18 of Hough and the 18T of Luke Thomas. The 18T of Thomas would be able to continue but the night would be over for Hough and Fitz.

Carber would bring the field to the green a couple more times until everyone would settle in and start clicking off the laps. A long green flag run would allow Greth to move ahead from his 9th starting position to 5th. Carber would continue to lead but would be dogged by the 29 of Ryan Wilson. Mike Rutherford , fighting an ill handling race car would start sliding back.

A yellow flag on Lap 28 for the 25S of Tim Buckwalter who was in 6th position at the time would set the stage for a two lap shootout between Carber and Greth who had moved into the 2nd position.

Carber was strong all night long and would hold off Greth for the win. Greth would cross 2nd with Ryan Wilson 3rd the #7 of Timmie Barrick would get back into his 4th starting position after sliding back early and the #6 of Mike Rutherford would cross the line in 5th. Greth would leave Path Valley with an 8 point lead over now 2nd place Rutherford. Jake Murphy would slide back to 3rd by virtue of Hough not being able to continue after the first lap wreck.

I can't say thank you enough to everyone that came out tonite counts have been down all year and especially lately at Path Valley. John, Vicki and everyone at Path did an absolutely wonderful job and I can't say enough about the surface. RD12 in the heats and RD15 and RD12 in the feature!!!! It was smooth and super fast just as advertised. The final race of the 2010 600 Pro Series is 10/23 at Black Rock Speedway. The Saturday race is a co sanction with the 600 Pizza Log tour. Friday night is a Pizza Log Race and Saturday is the Pro Series/ Pizza Log race. Friday pays $500 to win with Saturday paying $1,500.00 to win. Remember all Pro Series members that came to Path will get tow money if they don't make the Saturday feature. Check out www.600proseries.com for more information. Thanks again everyone that came out tonite you are all awesome!!!

Car entry will be $40.00 and pit pass is $20.00 Gates open at 5 pm warm-ups are at 7pm. John always has a good surface that is easy on tires. Path has a tough year with 600 car counts. Path Valley is arguably the best racing surface around let's show John some love and get a really nice car count. Points are over at most tracks now and Path is an easy tow just off the turnpike. Also, the payout is guaranteed.......thank you

Greenwood Valley Action Pro Series Has Been Canceled

posted: 9/27/2010

The Greenwood Valley Action Pro Series for 10/9 has been canceled. The Pro Series event was to be part of the Blaise Alexander race. Greenwood ultilizes a qualifier the Saturday before. The top two finishers of the prior weeks event are guaranteed a top 12 starting position. I was willing to compromise and guarantee a provisional starting position but we could not come to terms on that compromise. I have been in contact with John Winslet of Path Valley speedway to see if the series could race at his track on 10/8. If anyone would like to sponsor the $500.00 winners share of the purse that would certainly help with John's decision on whether or not to host another Pro Series event. As soon as I have info on Path Valley I will let everyone know....thank you......Wayne

Pro Series Lindas Recap

posted: 9/11/2010

32 cars signed in for race # 8 of the 2010 HTMA 600 Pro Series presented by NPS Racing Engines. The talk for most of the last two weeks had not been how tight the Pro Series points are but instead focused on the lack of rain for the past couple months. The staff at Lindas did an admirable job preparing the surface considering the situation they were up against. After two rounds of qualifying Pro Series member Heath Henley would sit on top of the points followed by Luke Thomas and current Lindas s Speedway point leader Ryan Wilson who was driving a car provided by Hyper Racing. Pro Series point leader Mike Rutherford would roll off in 10th position. Rutherford would also be in another car by virtue of his engine expiring in warm ups. The B main was won by Ryan Greth. 25 cars would take the green flag for the feature event. Henley would jump out to the early lead followed by Thomas and Wilson. Wilson would waste no time getting to Henley and tying himself to the rear Bumper of the Cooke Roofing 2c of Henley. Wilson would look underneath Henley a few times only to have him close the door finally carrying his momentum around the top of the race track Wilson would pull off the pass and assume the lead. Once in front Wilson would pull away and take the checkered flag. Henley would finish 2nd followed by Brock Zearfoss and Luke Thomas. Pro Series point leader Mike Rutherford was scored in 16th position . An incident with Rutherford and another car would cause Rutherford to spin in the infield bringing out the yellow flag. Rutherford would not stop but because the track thru the yellow flag he would have to tag the rear of the field.

By virtue of Rutherford finishing in 16th position the Pro Series points lead will be shared by Ryan Greth and Jake Murphy . Rutherford would go to 3rd just 2 points behind the leaders. Race #9 will be at Greenwood valley action track 10/9

Lanco Pro Series event recap

Newmanstown, Pa. - August 21 - Ryan Greth held off a last lap challenge from Brock Zearfoss to notch the victory in Saturday night's HTMA 600 Pro Series event at Lanco's Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway.

The triumph was Greth's second of the season with the touring HTMA 600 Pro Series Presented by NPS Racing Engines. This one came with the top wing bolted onto his Hyper Racing, NPS Racing Engines, Wayne Lesher owned, No. 1J. His first Pro Series win, recorded in July at the Hamlin Speedway, occurred in a wingless event.

The HTMA 600 Pro Series Presented by NPS Racing Engines brought a terrific field of 49 cars that was pared down to 24 for the 30-lap feature race. Greth, from New Cumberland, Pa., started on the pole by virtue of earning the most points in the series' dual heat race qualifying format.

Greth bolted into the lead at the outset, with Zearfoss chasing him while Ben Murphy and Jimmy Robertson battled for the third position. Murphy fell out of the race with mechanical problems after 19 circuits, leaving Mike Dicely and Heath Hehnly to fight with Robertson.

With only two yellow flags to slow the pace of the 30-lapper and the final 18 tours run under green, lapped traffic became an issue for the leaders. Greth was careful in picking his way through the backmarkers, allowing Zearfoss to close in as the race neared its conclusion.

Wheeling the Susquehanna Valley Speed Shop, Moose's LZ, PACE Chassis No. 1, Zearfoss made a last ditch effort to dive under the leader in turns three and four on the final lap. Greth, running a higher lane, used his momentum to thwart the attack, dashing to the checkered flag with a half-second advantage over Zearfoss. .

The victory enabled Greth to jump three spots in the Pro Series point standings, propelling him from fifth to second. He trails leader Mike Rutherford by 18 points with three races remaining on the 2010 Pro Series schedule.

"I have to thank Wayne Lesher for giving me the opportunity to drive his car; we've had a real good year so far," stated Greth in his post race interview. "And thanks to my parents for putting me in a racecar when I was young; I have so much fun doing this. Oh, and thanks to Mike Dicely...he builds the best cars in this business," added Greth as Dicely, his boss at Hyper Racing, gave him a thumbs-up.

Dicely survived a late race duel with Hehnly to finish third, with Hehnly and Robertson rounding out the top five. The 49 cars were split into two rounds of five qualifying heats, with Zearfoss, Pete Skias, Bruce Ginther Jr., Brett Schoenly, Tyler Esh, Dicely, Greth, Hehnly, Jason Morrison, and Mike Rutherford emerging victorious. The 20-lap B-Main was won by Tyler Ross.

The 7th race of the 2010 HTMA 600 Pro Series schedule is this Saturday at Lanco. Car registration is $45.00 pit pass for members is $20.00 non member is $25.00. Gates open at 3:30 warm ups at 5pm and racing at 6pm. www.lancomicrosprint.com

The 2010 season has proved to be a difficult one for most tracks. Car counts in the 600 class are down at most tracks. The 600 Pro Series last year averaged a car count of 42 per race. This season the series average is 41 cars per event after 6 events!!!! I can't tell you how much the support from the members of this series means to me. At every Pro Series event at least half of the cars that sign in are series members!!! That is exactly what I envisioned for the series .The points race past halfway is equally as impressive. Mike Rutherford holds a narrow 6 point lead over 2nd place Jake Murphy. There is only 30 points separating the top 5 and 137 points between the top 9. Making every race from this point forward is very critical for anyone in the top 15 paying positions in the point standings. With each race awarding 150 points to the winner one misstep by the front runners could prove very costly and as we all know at Lanco anything can happen.See you all at the track..........Thank you.......Wayne

Kutztown Fairgrounds Recap

posted: 7/22/2010

KUTZTOWN, PA - Heavy rain on two separate occasions cut Wednesday night's Checkered Flag Fan Club event short at the Fairgrounds at Kutztown Speedway.

The first storm arrived at 7:30 p.m., during 270cc Micro-Sprint qualifying and subsided after dousing the one-fifth-mile clay oval. Track crews, led by promoter Kerry Meitzler, had the clay in race condition following a delay of over an hour. However, a second strong storm arrived at 9:30 p.m., ending the night. Management thanks all fans, drivers and crew members for their cooperation during a trying evening.

The visiting Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic 600 Pro Series Presented by NPS Racing Engines for wingless 600cc Micro-Sprints completed two rounds of heat races. Qualifying winners were Tim Buckwalter, Ryan Smith and Mike Rutherford (Round No. 1) and A.J. Michael, Brett Arndt and Jimmy Robertson (Round No. 2).

HTMA 600cc competitors were paid their full feature payoff based on points earned in the two rounds of qualifying. The purse was totaled and paid back in decreasing increments of five to all 28 scheduled starters of the scheduled 30-lap main event.

Jake Murphy accrued the best heat race point average, followed by Mike Rutherford, Tim Buckwalter, Ryan Smith and Ryan Greth.

Recap of Hamlin Speedway

After a rainout postponed the initial Pro Series event Pro Series competitors traveled into the Pocono Mountains and Hamlin Speedway for the first ever wingless Pro Series event. 46 cars signed in for the nights event. At the end of the qualifying the #18 of Jake Murphy and the #1J of Ryan Greth would share the top spot. The B main would be split into two races to accommodate a constraint on time with the #55B of Bobby Butler and the #8 of Kyle Lick being the respective winners of their races. The feature event would see the 18 of Jake Murphy leading the field to green flag Murphy would lead the first lap with the #1J of Greth tied to the rear bumper of the #18 machine followed by the #026 of Jeff Hartman and the #71 or wingless specialist Brett Arndt . On the 3rd circuit Murphy would slide up in turn 4 just enough for Greth to pull along side down the front stretch. Greth would win the drag race into turn one and would lead the rest of the event that was slowed three times by yellow flags.3rd starting Jeff Hartman would stay close to the #1J but was unable to close the gap. The top 5 would be the #1J of Ryan Greth 2nd position would be the #026 of Hartman 3rd would be the 37B of Pro Series and Hamlin regular Brett Michalski 4th position would go to the #18 of Jake Murphy and 5th position would go to the #71 of Brett Arndt. Pro Series point leader Tyler Walton would be scored in 20th position after a bringing out the yellow flag late in the event.

During the 5th heat of the first round of qualifying 15 year old Mark Berkenstock was involved in a very scary crash that would delay the race for about an hour. During a series of violent flips Mark's belts apparently became undone causing him to become partially ejected thru the top of the roll cage of his car He was taken to Philadelphia by a life flight helicopter and I was informed by track officials that he was in surgery at the end of the event so please keep the Berkenstock family in your thoughts and prayers. The Berkenstock family are personal friends of Ryan and Denise Smith promoters of Hamlin Speedway. I can't say enough how humbled I was to see them continue the race even after such a traumatic series of events. These folks have been racers all their life and they can and should be very proud of the facility and everyone that works for them my hat is off to everyone at Hamlin Speedway. Great racing, great facility in a beautiful location. It doesn't get any better then that!!! The next event is the makeup for Kutztown rainout this Wednesday 7/21. 5th Race of the Season

posted: 6/08/2010

Saturday is the 5th race at Hamlin Speedway for the 2010 HTMA 600 Pro Series presented by NPS Racing Engines. After Clinton County, Tyler Walton holds a narrow 16 point lead over Mike Rutherford with 3rd place Shane Lewis just 20 points back. After 4 races there are only 80 points separating the top 7 positions and 155 points from 9th to 1st still within striking distance of the leader. As Tim Buckwalter will attest from last season to it only takes one bad night to turn everything upside down. Some members have been looking forward to the wingless portion of the series races, and some not so much. I remember when the ARCA series would have a race or two on dirt it would really separate the ones that could adapt their driving styles to the different surface. Two Pro Series members seem to have established them selves as wingless specialists Brett Arndt has a win at Kutztown this season and some strong runs from deep in the field at Hamlin this season. Brett is a regular with the ARDC and his experience in a wingless car really shows at these tracks. Young Brett Michalski has seemed to take a liking to the wingless cars this season as he also has a couple wins at Hamlin and some very strong runs at Kutztown. It should be very interesting. the DB racing challenge is $250.00 this weekend. any registered Pro Series member that starts from 7th on back in the feature event and wins the Pro Series feature event will receive an extra $250.00 WOW!!!!

Gates open at 1pm on Saturday sign up is 2pm - 4:30pm Drivers meeting at 4:45pm and warmups 5pm racing at 6pm sharp. There is an 11pm curfew so expect the show to move along quickly as with most Pro Series events. Pit pass is $20.00 with car entry of $40.00. Let's see if we can blow their socks off with a hefty car count this Saturday. Also I have Pro Series T shirts, long sleeve T's and Sweat Shirts for sale at the track.......Thank you.......Wayne

Recap of Clinton County Raceway

posted: 6/04/2010

It may have been only May on the calendar but it felt like August for the 4th race of the 2010 HTMA 600 Pro Series presented by NPS Racing Engines. 42 cars signed in to the event that would see the winner walk away with $1,500.00. At the end of qualifying the #1J of Pro Series regular Ryan Greth would sit on top of the points with Original Pizza Logs 600 Sprint Tour points leader Darryl Ruggles in 2nd position. Original Pizza Log co promoter Jim Radney would win the B main event. When the green flag waved for the 25 lap feature event the 48jr of Darryl Ruggles would jump into the lead followed by the #1J of Greth, the 14T of Walton and the #7H of Rutherford. Ruggles couldn't quite shake the other top 3 cars and Greth would slowly close the gap to the 48jr. Greth would capitalize on a mistake exiting turn 2 by Ruggles and would take over the lead. With Ruggles dealing with the 14T of Pro Series point leader Tyler Walton and the steadily advancing 7H of Mike Rutherford Greth would be able to stretch out his lead. At the half way mark in the event Greth would slow after catching the rear of the field allowing Ruggles to make an attempt to regain the lead with 5 to go. A brazenly bold move entering turn 3 would not fair well for the 48jr as he would subsequently lay his machine on its side ending his event. The yellow flag would tighten the field with the 7H of Rutherford now in the 2nd position and the 14T of Tyler Walton in 3rd with 5 laps to go. The 7H would nose under the Greth and exit turn 2 with the lead. Greth would make several attempts to regain the lead but it would be the 7H of Rutherford who would cross the line in 1st position followed by the 1J of Ryan Greth. 3rd would be 14T of Tyler Walton and 4th going to the 11 of Jim Brookens.

Race Notes:
I would like to thank everyone who came out to support the series and special thanks to all the Original Pizza Log competitors who made the haul. There are a lot of good cars in the new york and it's fun to be ale to race with them. The PA/NY match race challenge sponsored by R2C Performance was postponed due to track conditions and time constraints until the Black Rock Pro Series event in October. The DB racing challenge went unclaimed as no one from 7th on back was able to pull off the win so it will be $250.00 for the Hamlin event June 12th. I want to thank Kyle and his crew at Clinton County Raceway for their hospitality and trying to keep the track surface the best they could. In the beginning of the week the forecast called for mid 70's and by the end it was 90 degrees. And lastly I want to thank all the drivers who dealt with the heat and the slick conditions and didn't beat me up. I can say now with 100% certainty the Pro Series will not schedule a day race ever again. Thank you all.........Wayne Lesher

Recap of Path Valley Speedway

Wow!!! Let me sat that again WOW!!!! What a race last night at Path Valley Speedway for the 2010 Hoosier Tire Mid Atlantic 600 Pro Series presented by NPS Racing Engines. There were 20 Pro Series members signed in to the event and a total of 21 non path valley regulars for what would be some of the most fantastic racing anyone has seen in a long long time anywhere. At the end of qualifying the 14T of Tyler Walton, who is a path valley regular and was 2nd in Pro Series points, would have a commanding point lead at the end of qualifying. The feature event would start with the 14T of Walton on the pole with current Pro Series point leader 55L Shane Lewis on the outside of the front row. From the outset it was clear Walton was the car to beat. The 55L would slip after a few laps along with 4th starting Tim Buckwalter. The 44 of Mike Dicely, who started in the 7th position would soon be on the rear bumper of the 14T and at mid point would assume the race lead. From that point on it would be a furious battle for the lead between the 44 and the 14T. The lead would change hands several times with Walton passing Dicely on the last lap to claim the victory. 3rd would be the #99X of Eric Bodine who started 5th with 4th place going to the #1J of Ryan Greth who started 10th. It has been a while since I have been to Path Valley and I must say John and his crew did a phenomenal job preparing the track and the facility improvements I noticed are welcome change. "If you haven't checked path out in awhile please do. The next Pro Series event is Sunday May 30th at Clinton County raceway and pays $1,500.00 to win. Thank you to all that came to path last night I knew I could count on the Pro Series guys and you didn't disappoint.........Thank You.....Wayne

With rain in the forecast 41 cars signed in to race #2 of the 2010 Hoosier tire Mid Atlantic 600 Pro Series Presented by NPS Racing Engines. After the two rounds of qualifying the 25s of Tim Buckwalter would sit on the pole for the 30 lap main event. Just as the cars were parading for the start of the feature event a light rain would start to fall. After a caution on the opening two laps the event would go green til the end with Buckwalter surviving repeated challenges from the 18 of Jake Murphy.

Buckwalter would repeat as the winner having won the inaugural race at Greenwood in 2009. Point leader Tylar Walton finished in 7th position and relinquished his point lead to the 55L of Shane Lewis. Lewis leads Walton by 2 points followed by Murphy and Buckwalter who moved from 9th to 4th with this victory the next event is scheduled for Friday May 7th at Path Valley Speedway.

2nd race of the 2010 Season

posted: 4/16/2010

The 2nd race of the 2010 600 Pro Series is soon upon us Saturday 4/24 at the Greenwood Valley Action track. Gerry is going to turn the track over which should give us a good surface similar to the Arner Memorial to race on. Car entry is $55.00 with pit passes being $13.00.Gates open at 2:30 and the 600 will be first on the program. You must pull a pill by 5:30 or you will be sent to the rear of both heat races with no passing points. If you are going to be late call someone and have them pull for you. As with Trailways the top 16 will transfer to the A the next 24 to the B everyone else will be done for the night. The tiebreaker will be the pill pull at sign in and that will be the tiebreaker procedure for the rest of the series races. Only 26 points separate the top ten cars with Tyler Walton being the point leader after the first race. The provisional position for current points members will be in effect starting this race. The first non qualifying 600 Pro Series member will have the provisional. If that person elects not to use the provisional it goes to the next member and so on. 600 Pro Series members have one provisional per racing season.

Also, Keizer Wheels is adding $100.00 for anyone that wins with Keizer wheels and hubs on there car.

Let's pack them in like we did at Trailway!!!! See you all at the track....Thank You

Season Opener Results Are In

posted: 3/28/2010

Wow!!!!!!!!!!! 50 cars signed in to the first race of the 2010 HTMA 600 Pro Series presented by NPS Racing engines. A collection of the best 600 pilots on the east coast if not the country clicked off lap after lap of qualifying without hardly an incident. When the dust settled #55L Shane Lewis was on top of the qualifying points. Shane always seems to put it together for the big shows. Only 15 points separated 1st thru 16th which were transferred to the A main. The B main consisted of 24 cars the balance that did not make it into the B were done for the evening. 8 cars would transfer from the B main to tag on the rear of the A. Ryan Greth would start on the pole of the B and take the checkered flag for the victory followed by Tim Buckwalter in 2nd. At the drop of the green flag for the 25 lap Pro Series feature event Shane Lewis would jump out to the early lead but couldn't shake Tyler Walton completely. As the race entered the midway point lap traffic would allow Walton to catch and pass Lewis. Walton wouldn't surrender the lead and took the #14T Hyper Chassis to victory lane.

Race notes. I would like to personally think Brad, Perry and everyone at Trailway speedway for an awesome , awesome job today preparing the speedway and moving the show along. There were times when I thought maybe we should slow the show down a bit but it turned out to be one of the best Pro Series events yet!!! The track was awesome and the racing was fast and furious. One yellow flag in a 25 lap feature!!!!

The next Pro Series event is at The Greenwood Valley Action Track 4/24.....Thank you all for such a wonderful event!!!!...........Wayne

One Week Until Season Opener

posted: 3/21/2010

Only one week before the season opener at Trail-Way speedway!!! Remember if you haven't registered for the series yet make sure you do before registration closes at Trailway on Saturday. I would prefer not to deal with registration at the track. Members receive email updates of any changes, postponements, special awards etc. I am also trying to negotiate with trailway to change the race 3/27 to an evening start time. Check back this week for any changes in the trailway start time. All race results and rundown will be posted here and www.600scene.com ...thank you

Series Registration Deadline

posted: 3/2/2010

There is only 26 days until the opening event at Trailway Speedway. If you haven't sent your registration in yet don't wait until the last minute to do so. You must be registered with the Pro Series before the close of sign in at Trailway to be scored for that event. In the event of a cancellation all registered members will receive 75 points. I would appreciate not having to deal with Series registrations at the track

Thank you.....Wayne
